Privacy policy

Three/Four is a small kitchen rendering studio in New York. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect when you use this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to threequarterinterior@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you start a project (the intake form), you give us:

• Your name, email and neighborhood or ZIP code — the only required fields
• Optionally: your company, phone number, kitchen layout, ceiling height, wall measurements, style and material notes, and the date you need the renders by
• Optionally: photos of your kitchen and any sketches or floor plans you upload
• The package you picked and whether you are a contractor, designer, homeowner or investor

When you send a message through the contact page: your name, email, company (optional) and message.

Automatically: your IP address is recorded for up to 24 hours to block spam and abuse, then deleted. If analytics are switched on, Google Analytics sets cookies and records the pages you visit and general device information.

Payments are handled by Square on Square’s own checkout pages. We see that you paid, your name and email, and any note you add, but never your card number.

How we use it

• To model your kitchen and prepare your renders
• To email you about your project: confirmations, payment links, questions, deliveries and revisions
• To keep the forms free of spam
• To understand, in aggregate, how people use the site

We don’t sell your information and we don’t use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

• Photos and plans are stored privately with Cloudinary. They are not public: each file can only be opened through a signed link that we generate and that expires after 7 days.
• Form answers are stored in our database with MongoDB. [REVIEW: confirm the hosting provider and region]
• Emails about your project are sent through Resend.
• Payments are processed by Square; analytics, if enabled, by Google.

Each of these companies processes data on our behalf under its own privacy and security terms.

Your photos and our portfolio

We use your photos only to build your renders. We won’t publish your photos, or renders of your home, in our portfolio or marketing without your permission. [REVIEW: confirm this matches how you want to handle portfolio use]

How long we keep it

We keep project details and files for 12 months after your final delivery so we can handle revisions and follow-up work, then delete them. Contact messages are kept for 12 months. [REVIEW: confirm retention periods]

Your choices

You can ask us at any time for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, including your photos. Email threequarterinterior@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. [REVIEW: check obligations under New York law (SHIELD Act) and any other state privacy laws that apply to your clients]

You can block or delete analytics cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

Security

Files are stored privately, connections to the site are encrypted, and access to our accounts is limited to the studio. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send anything you don’t need to, such as keys or alarm codes visible in photos.

Children

This site is for adults planning renovation work. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be emailed to active clients.
